Is that curly thing near LIBERTY on the slab?

Well, I'm grading in the "dark hole where nobody grades" between 58 and 63- MS61

The only thing that kept me from voting 64 was the spots.

Hmmm - were the spots there before or after the grading. Went with 63 because that was my first thought.

63 is the spots were there at time of grading,, 64 if they weren't that bad or weren't there at the time of grading...

going with they weren't there as bad at time of grading... 64

I like this coin. It is easily a 64 and possibly a 65 without those spots. Very few nicks, nice color and good luster. Abe even has a pretty descent beard and this is a 1926 Lincoln. However, PCGS graded it with the spots and gave it a 63. They are probably correct, but I will take this over most 63's I have seen.

I new this coin couldn't go below a 63 , thought it would get a 64 . Guess those dots were there when they graded it .

Without those spots, that coin is a solid 64 or higher IMHO.
