    1947-S NGC slabbed

NOTE: If you don't vote in the poll, your vote will not be counted.

Just to be sure, the scratch on Abe's forehead is on the slab, not the coin.

It could be a 67, but the markings on the letters on the rev bring it down. 66RD

Possible MS67 w/ just a weak obverse strike, but I put MS66 because I am feeling a little conservative today. :taking-a-bath:

Strike doesn't affect the technical grade. And luster is impossible to judge well from photos. It's hard to tell if scratches are on the slab or coin. I'm guessing slab. I'll also guess NGC 67RD (PCGS 66RD) because it's not too pricey a Lincoln.

    First reaction -- 66.

But obverse luster is a mystery.

I'm gong to have to think about this one for a little while....

Solid strike, lots of luster and very few marks. Why wouldn't it be a 67. And look at that reverse. A nice 67.
