MS66 RB, as NGC might up it cause of the toning

Slab pretty messy, tough to see, probably 1 higher than my grade but no way I would get this one without seeing in hand.

I don't think it's all on the slab - I say no grade.

I think 65 cause of the chatter, but it looks like some nice luster - that might carry it to a 66.

At closer look, I tend to agree, what is going on around LIBERTY? looks like the coin was wiped as the toning is not in the lettering.

    Pretty color though. 66RB

    66. Knowing RLM, I dont think he would have bought a problem coin.

Yes, Doug, they are on the coin. However, I never even noticed them until you commented, but I still do not know what they are. They are not scratches. The best I can compare them to would be faint milk spots (milk streaks?) I also have no idea if they were there when graded. I know some things have changed since grading since the coin is no longer red. I thing the color change may even have improved the coin. However, something was going on when they graded it. This would be a solid 66 of better if it were full bright red. As it stands now, I agree with the 65, but RB in stead of RD.

Larry did not last long at the top, but he is still in the running and a bunch of other changes. I guess that is what happens when everyone is bunched together.

Top 10. Columns are rank, name, average, and number of guesses.
