I got this today, the dealer had 4 toned morgans of the same grade graded by PCGS, he was selling all of them for the same price. I got the one that looked to have the nicer toning.

Let's see if anyone can guess the grade.

I'd like to say 65, but those scuffs and hair flatness over her ear.... gotta go along with them 64 guys.

I might even go to 63 because of the marks on the obverse side

First look and impression MS-63 may push to 64.

My first thought was 63, it could go higher without the chatter on the face.

    Here is the grade...
Sorry for price sticker on the rest of the number, I forgot to take it off. Yes, I paid $65 for it, probably overpaid but I'm happy adding it to my collection :) IMG_20150627_105923.jpg

MS64, maybe even 64+ with that toning. Outstanding eye-appeal.

I like the toning on the coin. I would have guessed 63, but it's already been revealed.

While I know you are kidding in an attempt to poke fun at toning enthusiasts, but I think comments like that are dangerous to unwary newbies. The fact is that evaluating toning's effect on price takes experience and once achieved, that experience is invaluable.

The coin in question has some attractive toning that would yield a premium of 1.5 to 2X price guide. Personally, I use Numismedia Wholesale for Morgan Dollars which would make the price range $75-$100. He bought the coin at full PCGS Retail for MS63 so I say he got a pretty good deal.
