Please guess the grade on this 1885-S Morgan. Bonus points for guessing the type of holder. Thank you!

    I'll say MS64. It's in a plastic holder.

Are you sure I don't have three right? I'm almost positive that I spelled my name correctly.

My apologies! You have anywhere from one to three correct statements in that original post!

Now you're really confusing me. First, you said that I have "1 or 2" correct.:) Then, when I cited the spelling of my name, you said I have "1 to 3" correct.:wacky: So, if I had one correct to begin and added my name, I should have "2 or 3" correct. Right?

I'll tell you what. I'm gonna change my guess.

Now, how many do I have right?

    Sorry for the confusion!
You were correct about it being 2 to 3 (although if you had 2 to 3 right, saying you had anywhere from 1 to 3 right would still be true).

By the way, how long do you think we can go back and forth like this before someone else guesses a grade?:D

I guess all of the kiddies went to bed. I'll probably stay up until 3 or 4 am, going back and forth between the TV and the computer. You still haven't told me how many I have correct with my new guesses.

Now it is 2; your previous attempt was 2 to 3 (I don't want to reveal it completely).

MS64 and OGH but with the outside part broken off and what's left looks like a rattler but it's not ;)

I'm guessing MS-64 in a PCGS either Doily or the 2.1 Doily replacement holder. Anything earlier would not have the retaining ring around the outside and the later versions moved the PCGS logo to the lower right corner of the holder rather than the retaining ring.
