I am looking at my book and they have no proofs pictured, I would think it is a proof tho, so I will say pr-65, an excellent coin, seeing coins like this is good for me to stop impulse buying, since now I know how good looking some of these coins can be, I can more easily resist the ef one when I see it.
You guys were all close , PF-64 , The slab is in the worst shape I ever seen one even in hand its hard to tell if the haze are sratches or the slab , most are on the slab . Any ideas as to a good price . rzage
Can't tell from the photos if there are any hairlines, and the presence of hairlines or not is the determining factor in these proof coins. I'll guess PF 65. Nice coin, regardless...Mike
Dude, very nice coin. Buy some "Slab renew" thru ebay for $10-$15. I've used it on PCGS slabs and it is fantastic for hiding scratches and scuffs. I'd say it increased the sale price on my 1934-D MS65 Washington by at least 20% because you couldn't see the mint mark under the scuff marks before and now it "pops" right at you.
The Grey Sheet has PF-64 at $815, and their prices tend to be low, very low, on Seated dimes. I think you got it for a reasonable price. Not the best deal you'll ever get probably, but far from the worst, I'd wager.
Thanks , tbarreca and flyers10 , I feel a little better now , plus he said he'd pay for reslabbinging . rzage
Maybe I should get the greysheet , but I figured if I didn't I'd have more for coins and books . rzage
