Guess the Grade - 1809 50c

    Notes:

    • The slab has scattered marks, the line through the corner of liberty’s eye is on the slab for example and scuffed areas above the eagle’s neck on the reverse and on the shield are also on the slab.
    • The slab shot at the end is just for reference but is not white balanced like the other photos hence the warmer color.

    I'm right on the line but I'll give that AU50, Sweet piece would fit in my type set beautifully :D

    Thats a nice looking Bust Half. XF45, but seems there is still a bit of luster left on that one. I think I should be higher.

    I'd give it an EF-45, but I am sure the slab says AU-50 or 53.

    I actually thought vf. It looks technically worn due to the strike yet has luster of xf 45. I thought they might have graded it low. Was between 30-35 myself

    I thought the same. I was at VF-25. Thought others were looking at a different coin that I was. This is not close to AU despite the luster.
