I am sorry, but I do not get this one. Even Doug thought this was a 66. Why this is a 65 and most of my others are 66's is beyond me. Full strike and nice luster nearly mark free sounds like a 66 to me, but PCGS thinks it is a 65.

Someone needs to kick Duke. We lost him this round. Outside of Duke, no significant change.

Top 10. Columns are rank, name, average, and number of guesses.

DUKE !!!! I hope your ok man ! game isn't the same without you and the gen'lee...... kick it back into gear and get back into the race !!!!

.... this one doesn't surprise me too much. The 'faint' spots in the fields give pcgs all the reason they need to overlook the other favorible attributes... seen it before, and it tends to be a crap shoot whether or not pcgs will knock the grade or not. This coin is a good example of a major departure between ngc and pcgs... I could see this in a 67 ngc holder easily.... especially if it was dated in the 50's.

It's a 66 to me . Can't see why some small spot should lower the grade that much , it's not like it's glaring at you . PCGS made a mistake on this one .

I guess it has been a while and there are a few new entries here - so:
I keep an average of the latest 50 scores and post the top 10 for each round. The only qualification is that you must enter a score for at least 1/3 of the latest rounds. And the only adjustment is that I remove you worst score with 10 or more guesses and you second worst score for 20 or more guesses. Therefore, at present, there are 8 people who have guessed the grade to better than 0.5 unit.

Bah....PCGS "look, we're conservative as hell" example grade. Bull excrement, that's a 66.
