I tried, but this one was hard to catch.

63+1... don't like to give the+1 here as pcgs is often tough on woodies,,, but what the heck.. let it ride.

Weak hair and TRUST (common), and a few minor scratches

    63

PCGS seems to like these woodies more than I do -- I consistently overgrade these coins. I want to grade it 63, but guessed 64 for that reason.

Going with 63 myself. Just seemed weak all around - still a nice coin.

kind of a slider piece A/U- M/S in my opinion hard to tell from the pic

That is a super nice piece. I would also call it 65 but I think PCGS gave it a 63. The two woodies I have submitted have not returned as expected/hoped rom pcgs.

    I'll go MS-63 , This is a tough coin for me . it'll probably slab at 64 .

What I really like is the horizontal woodgraining. You don't see these very often, it's almost always angled. If I saw this coin, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I don't know just where to put this coin. Woodies are hard to photograph, hard to see in hand and the TPG's seem to be even harder on them with their grading. All of that being said, this is about the best struck 23-S I have seen - and I mean searching Heritage's 64's and 65's to see if there is a better struck coin. BTW, in hand, there is a lot more red to the coin than shows on the pictures. There are only a couple little ticks on it and it has at least descent luster. I cannot tell you why it did not get a 64 safe for the wood graining. PCGS called this a 63. That does not surprise me considering it is a woodie, but I think it should go a bit higher.

We lost a couple from last week and we had some movement at the top (aside from baha).

To tell you the truth, I have not paid close enough attention to the difference between the two for woodies to answer that.

Personally this is my favorite coin that you have listed since I joined CT. I also have a hard time understanding how they apply their grading standards to woodies but I guess that is just how it is.
