I was torn between 62 and 63. Guessed 62 on obverse detail (or lack thereof) -- what a crappy obverse strike!

Are they all struck like this?

    Nice example!

Leadfoot - It's a 20's Lincoln branch mint, pretty much the norm.

My F-12 24-D has a better strike than this................

63 pancake... I've seen a hundred like this... I still like the coin, and it's better than other panner's I've seen in pcgs 63.... I like that lusterful brown color,, very nice,, and a hard date to come by in affordable MS.

Same here. Is the crack on the reverse near the right wheat ear real?

this coin might have a 64 potential but gave it a 63. Nice die crack on the wheat stalk

This really is not too bad of a strike for a 24-D. The obverse die had seen its better days, but it did all it could on the planchet. The field are pretty clean and it has nice luster for a brown coin. An interesting die crack on that right wheat. I think this is a solid 63 or 63+.

BTW, I now know you are actually learning. If I had posted this at the beginning, 3/4 or more would have missed this. Here, 60% got it right.
