Man,,, another very tough one. Drives me nuts when I see that flat area above the ear that looks like wear.... can't see any other obvious signs of potential wear other than that so will assume it's strike, and go with 63.

Hmmm. I wanna say AU. But pics make luster very hard to read. Gonna guess 62 -- which means, of course, that it'll grade 63 as I've consistently undergraded these woodgrain coins. :)

Another one I feel I just guessed on - it was either a choice AU coin or maybe a weak strike, but certainly too nice in my opinion for 60 to 62. I went with 63.

I really like this one with the exception of trying to figure out how it was graded:) I'm probably way off but will give it a 64. I may be wrong (more than likely) but if it is uncirculated (big if) I just don't see enough issues to pull it off the 64 mark.

I went with 60. Not sure if that is wear on the obv or just a weak strike. Nice coin and wood grain

A 65 woody? I doubt it, the TPG's are hard on 'em.

Nothing spectacular about the coin, but it is a 1914-S - and a woodie to boot. However, there is no wear that you can really pick out in hand. It is a fair strike with minimal marks although it does have a couple small spots. That averages out to a descent 63 for me. On a side note, even though no one (save for PCI) will grade it, I still prefer my other 14-S - altered surface or improperly cleaned AU or not. (see http://www.cointalk.com/t45744-2/. My pictures have improved since then.)
