A strange coin and one that has me puzzled, at least the pics do. The obv almost looks like it has been scuffed for lack of another word.

Got any other pics from a different angle ?

The die scratches don't bother me much so I went with 66. The dark areas on the jaw and face made me wonder a bit but I just figured that was just the image.

The revese hit by the M and weak strike should keep this out of 67, but it's a crap shoot with NGC.

The die polish lines are definitely less obvious in hand than on the pictures. Aside from the lines, there are only a couple small nicks. Unlike the 53-, this coin has full luster. Maybe this coin is not the best 67 I have seen, but, none the less, it is a 67.
