This will be the last of five guess the grades from my recent submission to NGC. Please view the photos below and vote in the attached poll. For uniformity, I will provide the same available grades for all 5 coins.

For the record, I was not fortunate enough to get a full step coin with a star designation. As always, comments welcome.

Beautiful nickel. From images, it's always hard to tell if a coin has the eye appeal for a star designation. So I will go with MS66. If the luster is blazing and the colors pop, it could be a star.

torontokuba Thread Crapper & Hijacker, TP please.

I see a couple of scoop and shovel marks, otherwise perfect.

I think that gash on top of his head is really on the coin (as opposed to the slab). I went 65*, but if that mark is on the slab, it could go 67.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Still not star-worthy in my opinion. 66. I don't even need to comment on these steps.

I don't know the series at all. I guessed a 65, no FS.

Based on the pictures, I see minor surface disturbances on the cheek bone, jaw and in the hair by the ear. That's why I went 65.

    Obviously not FS.

Looks like a 66 to me, and not enough pop for a star IMO.

The line above the head into the hair (@rlm's cents called it a gash) looks like a die crack to me. I don't see anything I'd call a "gash".

I am nearly certain it is not a die crack. However, someone could convince me it is on the slab.

Very nice eye appeal the hit to the head kept me from saying 66* or 67. Very nice piece.

I went with a 66*. I had it at a 65 but I usually forget that the pics are more than life size and the hits that I am looking at are a lot smaller than what they appear on the pic. Nice coin love the color.

It is a die crack, one of have seen many times on 45-D Jeffs.

This coin was the easiest to grade IMO. The steps are definitely not full and surfaces are clearly MS67. I thought this coin was a no brainer MS67*, the color is outstanding.

I couldn't tell from the picture it was a die crack and not a scratch it definitely moves up based on that. All 5 are very nice. Are you going to give the final NGC grade on all?

That is a funky looking die crack, but OK. I will go with 66.

Or maybe Lehigh can convince you it is a die crack as I surmised. Lol...but I will give you that you only said "nearly certain"... :D
