Ok, it wasn't a purchase but a coinstar find.
2000 year something not even worthy of the scrap copper bucket.

I have thousands in that condition and worse. I don't know what to do with them  :yack::depressed::nailbiting::grumpy:

2000 is copper plated zinc planchet. Even if it were in good condition it wouldn't be worth it.

Put it in a cup with vinegar for a few days and watch it disappear! :wacky:

If it is a 2000 did you check to see if it was a WAM:wacky::wacky:now that would be a true find.

Taking into account that damage is a criteria for the grade, as this is a GTG thread, for the damage I see I at AU-58.

Edited to add a  so no one takes me seriously.

    2000 year something?

I've seen LOTS of 2000-year-old coins that have held up better than a 20-year-old Zincoln.

At least future archaeologists won't have to dig through layers of current one-cent coins.

Glue it to the heel of your shoe so it clicks as you walk down a hallway, and make people wonder why. LOL
