Here we have the rest of my haul from the Columbus Ohio Numismatic Association show. I am broke now, and my wheels are turning as to how i can scrape more $ together so i can go back tommorow. Hmmmmm I am not like addicted to coins or anything, i can quit them anytime i choose......... Loan me 20 dollaz
1939 Mercury: MS65, not a big fan of the strike on the reverse of what appears to be an LDS coin. 1958-D Rosie: MS66, nice obverse color but not great. 1821: XF40
That '39 Merc is an easy MS67, The Roosie may be as well but maybe not on the old label. The Pillar is out of my zone but maybe AU. All these opinions without reverting to my chief grader for assistance....
I don't know dimes, but they are both awesome looking. I really like the toning on the Roosie. Question about the Merc. It seems those in the know are giving it a 67. Wouldn't the rim dim (obv 5 o'clockish) bring it down, or is 67 saying it coulda been a 68 if it weren't for the rim ding? Unless what I think is a ding isn't a ding, then, as Roseanne Rosannadanna would say.... Nevermind.
Its not a ding, its a smudge on the holder. Probably from where a sticker was placed and then peeled off
