I gave up trying to differentiate between "degrees of flatness" on the reverse of wreath-type Seated minors long ago, and therefore pretty much grade them via head/LIBERTY/shield as long as the strike seems reasonable. By that standard, I'm at VF25-30 on the Dime - the shield is displaying notable wear, lines beginning to blend.

As for the Morgan, first impression is a kind of low-end 65. As always, differing images might move the needle a grade one way or the other ("down" more likely in this case).

I'll just say, without giving the grade away, @SuperDave You are on point tonight with your grades(both threads)...your needle must be freshly calibrated

vf 35 on the dime.. Nice clean fields, and a very attractive coin. I have no business even guessing on the dollar

Dimes a tough one as certain aspects used in grading (liberty and the scroll) are stronger than others (her head and breast) my call on this one vf -30
The Morgan I see more frost breaks rather than contact marks. It is an 80-s tho. Tough call without seeing in hand but I'm going ms 65. I could be a point high tho

Dang , I'm always a point low on Morgans and 2pts if it's a 65 which it's clean enough to be . I just don't see any booming luster that a 65 should have .

That only happens to birds living near worm farms though ;)

64+ on the morgan. Though 65 isn't out of the question imo.

On the seated, I can't stop looking at the bow and laurel stems. My 12yo self is chuckling
