Ok I've had this one awhile but just got some real good pics from @geekpryde guess the grade. Ngc holder and cac approved I've posted it before so try not to cheat lol
I honestly don't remember the grade, so I am guessing too. MS65* I say 65 and not 65+ or 66 because of the marks above the "In God We Trust" on Reverse, and the two cheek hits.
By the way, this coin was easy to photograph for some reason. I can't say that for all of Bill's Toned Morgans, but in this case, the coin was not camera shy.
The more I look at this Morgan, the more I like it. I has almost everything: proper color progression, elevation chromatics, pull away toning, and undeniable eye appeal. If it had an area of textile toning, this piece would be the ultimate toned Morgan teaching tool.
Excellent pictures! I have no problem calling this one a 66. It either has a Star or a PL, but not both. Finding PL toners is difficult, but when you can, they are amazing - the mirrored surfaces make the toning really stand out.
Well for some reason I can't find a pic of the slab. And @geekpryde has it currently so I can't take one Is ms 66* cac
