physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Went F-15, and I'm going to stand by it. Looks like a nice, solid coin though.

I actually agree. On both counts. It was indeed a nice piece, but I too was of a F15 opinion (the grade, not the fighter jet. LOL)

I just don't know this series at all.. I was the low vote at F-12.

I went with F15 but thought it might be in a 20 holder

I went with 20. Pretty coin.

I'm calling it VF20; the hair is too well-defined. That's 25 level, but the reverse drags it down.

I stand behind my VF25 assessment on this one. But maybe that's because I've seen too many of these draped bust cents with green crust and damage on them still straight graded. This one was well cared for.

The pictures here were only adequate; not fantastic. I was gonna crack this one out and send it to PCGS for Trueview images. In so doing, I was prepared to accept a drop to F15 but feared a "details" grade. In hand, this had pretty appealing surfaces, though, so I thought it should straight-grade at PCGS, too.

As it happens, I never got to find out. I sold this one with the ANACS slab intact. Such is the revolving nature of my "Box of 20" - coins come in, are admired a while, and then out they go again, to be owned by someone else so I can buy yet another piece to admire.
