I got this back from PCGS a few months back and I wasn't even close on the grade, so I thought I'd see what others thought. Will reveal the grade tonight around 9 pm. Thanks
PR65 You can't grade proof coins from photos, it is impossible to see hairlines. That said, PCGS also doesn't like haziness in the fields or spotting anywhere, and your coin seems to have both. I know that photo makes the coin look stupendous, but if you showed a photo that didn't magnify the coin, I think people would do better guessing.
How can you accurately grade by 2 photos? Also, how can designate FS from photo's. A coin has to be graded in hand in my opinion.
Proof coins were supposed to be the best of the best and in that case they all should be FS which is why the steps aren't mentioned(PF63).
At first, I thought maybe the reverse was a clash, but upon closer inspection, it seems to just be marks. I vote MS66
