Nice war nickel, it's in an older holder so I voted MS66 5FS.
    I hope it's a 67 5FS

I voted 66 FS. It's probably 67 but I have a hard time grading things that high I guess.

That's a beauty. MS67 looks full steps worthy of a Star.

Very nice but I only see 4 steps and I don't drink but my eyes get blurry at this hour. :)

I went with 66, no star (toning appears neutral and might even be terminal near the rims, unless that is just a shadow). From my phone screen I only see four steps, so no full steps (maybe I’ll change my mind after getting back to the main computer à la Mr Ed Wood :p).

    Agree with 7 8 and 10.
I don't see FS on this, even though it is close.
I was max at 66 because the dark crusty toning around the rim
did not have eye appeal to me.

I said 66. A couple marks worst on the shoulder. And not quite enough definition for 5 full steps

I’m at 65. Close on the FS but some bridging under two columns. I think the terminal toning kept this one from exceeding gem state.

Strike, Luster, and Surface are on par with 66 but I think the eye appeal limited it to 65. I do also think it would be a green bean candidate at 65 being a higher end of the grade.

65, though I wonder if it has changed in the holder at all. Lovely coin with a lot of character either way

I like the crusty old perimeter tarnish.

Wait till you see the slab photo, my closeups really don’t do it justice.
