image.jpeg image.jpeg Here's clearer images of the first 2 obverses I noticed the first 2 show the color better but not the detail some of the light scratches are on the slab

I revise my guesses on the first one, based on the better obverse photo:

This is a superb group. I especially love the 80-S.

64 (I don't think the luster is there - based on the photo - to make MS65. The 1881-s is known for blazing luster and coins without it are often penalized by the TPGs.)

This is an interesting thread thus far, and I can't wait 4 the reveal....:shy:
I have a feeling we are going to witness some degree of market grading here, especially after the last toned GtG:lurking:

I wouldn't be surprised to see that the 80-S got the color bump nod, but unless the photos are not very good, I don't know if the others would. When something like that 81-S is the worst of the bunch in terms of toning/eye appeal, all bets are off. :)

Disagree strongly. Love the Blue color, and it is usually quite popular with toned coin lovers.

I thought you quit the Rainbow Morgan Cult and are now with the DMPL worshippers? :)

Well, sort of. I sold 82 of my toned coins to give my son and his fiancée a nice wedding present. I kept most of my bright Morgans, and am collecting Blazers now, but still love the toners.

How did you sell them ? 1-by-1...or bulk ? And where did you sell it ?
