This dime is graded but not by big 3. I don't care what you think slab says I want your opinion. Be honest is it worth crossing over.
Looks like, maybe a PCI slab? I like that company.....their grades on pre-1964 coins are pretty accurate. The lighting on those pics make it hard to see surface rubs, but based on the small ping in her cheek, there might be a few rubs around it. Reverse looks like a blazing MS-66....Obverse MS-64+. I'd call it a 65 with FSB, not really worth submitting unless you have a shipment already going in and can just throw it in. But, maybe others will see something I've overlooked!
I don't think that the bands are full, so therefore, I don't think that slabbing this coin makes sense.
Mercury's cheek doesn't look swell and looking at a Merc of mine, I don't think full bands are there.
Sorry I couldn't get a better picture of the reverse. I'll post the whole slab tomorrow. I gave $10 for it do you think that's too much?
Here's the slab as promised. As you can see I didn't buy the slab I bought the coin. She does have split bands and a few small marks on her cheek. I gave it MS 65 FSB when I bought but would concede 64+. In kinda partial though. And I thought $10 wasn't to bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
there appears to be a disturbance in the middle bands at the very center. I don't think that this coin will cross with FSB.
It does have a small ding but the line is clean separating the bands. Does that still keep it from being split bands?
