    Got this one a couple days ago--anyone care to guess the grade?

    What do you think those hits on the rim are? Almost looks like it was mounted in something as a piece of jewelry.

    I think it's in a rattler and those are marks from the holder.
    Hard to tell from the pict though.

    Sorry about the pics, I'll try to take sharper ones. I was trying to show the toning on the coin, a nice dark red ring with blue/green on the rim of the reverse. Duke is right, its marks from the rattler holder its in.

    PR-6*....

    It is really, really hard to judge proofs from pictures when they are good pictures. And those aren't good pictures for grading. They do show the toning well - I'll say it appears to be an attractive coin. I just can't get any idea of the grade.

    Yeah nice guesses everybody and thanks for the input! I will definitely try to get some sharper pictures for guessing the grade next time.
