AU50, but it is hard to read since your pictures are just out of focus.

Looks nice, but I will go with XF-45. The color looks a little washed out in the pictures and with the weak strike it is kind of hard to tell.

I don't see the button, maybe someone un-buckled it yesterday and she forgot to button back up....❤

I'm trying to get better pictures, but having a hard time with the plastic.

The pictures are fine except either you are moving the camera/coin or they are not quite in focus.

    My preliminary guess: O-113a.

Edit: The Obverse matches O-113a -- especially that long die crack thru the 1 and over the date.

It's identical to the die crack shown on pg 276 of "U.S. Early Half Dollars Die Varieties 1794 - 1836" 5th edition.

If I'm right, then it's Rarity is "Very Scarce" (estimated 81-200 examples exist).

    Are you selling?

Unusual coin. Reverse well struck up but obverse bust looks a little mushy. I would guess instead of weak strike worn obverse die myself. Grade? I would be between a 35 and a 40, (maybe 45), depending on the coin in hand. I agree on the luster, but at times that is the photograph.

Lovely original coin, I'll go XF-45. No clue on the Overton though.

I looked the O-113a up on coin facts. Looks like a dead ringer. Good call!

Nice coin. XF 45, with attractive original color. I don't follow varieties, so I can't comment on that. Just think it is a desirable coin, with nice detail for a chocolate toned, original coin. I like it.

Looks like a weak strike on Obverse with an overall grade of XF

Should probably be XF from a weak strike but I will guess they gave it a VF 30

I'm in the 40 group , though if it were my coin I'd put a 35 on it .
