I really don't like the spots on the reverse of this one, the photos make them stand out like a sore thumb. I will probably wait till Monday to post the grade, and as I have said before, you don't have to know how to grade to guess.
This needs to be reslabbed, someone before me either tried to clean it or did something trying to buff something out. It has this milky white color as soon as I try to get the true color. My bad but the best I can do.
Yeah the image is hard to read ,and like you said probably hard to capture the correct color of the specimen.
There isn't anything hiding. The lines running NE/SW are from a die polishing and are on the entire obv. field. There is a contact mark across Lincolns temple, a few minor on his cheek and jacket. The wheat stalks are full rev. and there isn't much other than the carbon spots. Above the ONE it is evident that there is some weakness, either a struck thru grease. Or an over polished die. All in all the coin is very well struck for the date and MM.
Looks like the O in One took a hit in your picture. Can you take another. Not sure i can give you a MS fair number. Really wanna try
