edit - i thought fake the second i saw it. i own one example, an 1875-s (like everyone else lol) but i guess i need to examine it better. the reason i thought fake was the raised LIBERTY on the shield. I had no idea until right now that the 20c pieces had it raised instead on incuse as on other seated denominations.

CAC absolutely LOVES high grade coins that are crusty. Almost a guaranteed CAC if you have that combination. Congrats. A very nice coin and undervalued date. Much more rare than the 75 CC but gets no glory whatsoever.

Agreed why I bought it for my type set. The 75-s way to common. This is a real nice one in hand too

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I was going to say 53/55. This is a very attractive coin - I like the color on the reverse.

Very nice coin. I need to get a 20 cent one of these days. Probably target VF-XF.

Good idea. If you really want something scarce find something other then a 75-s a 75-cc 75 or 76 very scarsmce coins in comparison especially the 76

The 20 Cent pieces were struck for 4 years with 7 different date & MM combinations........but good luck buying one that isn't an 1875. When more people realize that, the 1876-P should see some strong demand. I love it, @Mainbill, NICE and rare coin!
