    Where do you see the rim damage?I see a nice rim cud on the obverse if that's what your reffering to.

    FYI- The rim at "E" in United is a rim cud from a die chip.

    Ok :D it really looked like a chunk out of the rim to me in the pic.
    That being said... I think potty may have it right as a proof it has that look of a burnished planchete but I think potty went a hair low
