OK, here is another guess the grade for you guys to try. This is a 1998-D Washington Quarter from my collection. It is graded by NGC. I have tried to take photos the best photos that I have to give you an accurate idea of how this coin looks in hand. So, what do you think NGC graded it as.

Hopefully, NGC graded it as a quarter.

Well, didn't get a lot of responses on this one...but I will post the grade anyway. NGC graded it MS64PL.

It's actually a pretty nice coin and the grade doesn't do it justice.

The reason the grade is so low is that about 1% of these in mint sets come very clean. While PL's are "common" for the date being Gem and PL isn't as common so they graded it a little harshly.

That's what I have heard. In hand, this is a beautiful coin. I bought it on eBay a few years back and the photos they posted of it made it look very hairlined and ugly. I wanted a modern PL Washington and the price was low so I look a chance since I trust NGC's opinion. I was very pleased with what I received.

I have those photos on my home computer. I will post them later.
