I'm considering submitting this coin to PCGS in the near future. Please GTG that PCGS will assign of the 1962 Franklin Half Dollar shown below. I have attached a poll for you to cast your vote and you may select up to 3 different things: the numerical grade, Full Bell Lines, & + grade. Please remember to vote in the attached poll, and as always, comments welcome!
The dime, just based on what we can see on the obverse, looks EF40-45; we really need better pictures to tell.
Definitely PCGS FBL. And I'll be honest, it looks AU to me. Different pictures might change my mind, but this one is not a high grade. If it is UNC, I'd put it at 63FBL.
With it quadrupling in price at 64FBL from 63 I think PCGS is going to keep this one at 63. I think the luster is what is missing for 64 but the pictures could be hiding the luster but I trust your photos being a good representation of the coin in hand.
I went with 63 FBL ....just makes FBL by PCGS standards but maxes out at 63 due to the weak luster (I could even see it lower than 63, but the surfaces are clean enough for me to stick with the 63)
