Today's GTG is an 1961 Washington Quarter I finally got a shot in the correct light to show off the teal blue tone, the coin is in a Anacs soap bar slab. The devices are really frosty in hand and the fields are spotless....other than the toning .
Hmmmm. I would say it is a PF-65 or PF-66. ANACS tends to undergrade based on my experience, especially the soap bars. I would say they gave it a PF-64. Beautiful toning!
PF66? I don't really do proof coins and I'm also on double secret probation so I have to watch myself.
68... bet it was brilliant when it was graded...ANACS soap bars tend to tone most silver coins after time...something in the label reacts.
Well I will post the image later... but it is a proof 67. And why it did get a cam I have no idea . The devices are so frosty. The teal color really neat in a natural light.
Well looks as if the coin gods have removed you off secret probation after the news you texted me. Again well deserved !
No problem I don't want to spoil the moment . Hey everyone Seattlite86 just purchased a Tesla ! You said you're waiting delivery
