    Could go 66 but I'm gonna guess MS65. My guess might be way off as I don't have any experience grading Lincolns :p

    66 RD? That whole era is known for mushy strikes, isn't it?

    Not mushy, just worn out master dies. Abe pretty much lost his beard by the end of the 30's and it continued down hill thereafter.

    Well, it looks like there are plenty of dings along the brow, especially one that looks like an 'X' right in the center of his head. So, I'm a conservative grader: MS64RD

    Just about mark free and it has nice luster. Maybe a bit dark for a 67, but still a very nice coin.

    Blew both of them , guess I shouldn't have looked at the Lincoln Redbook . It has a 67 at $3000 .

    What Red Book you got? Mine only lists 65 as $1 or $0.50. Now NGC lists it as $630. I assure you, I paid a lot less.
