    That cheek I don't know. Beautiful coin but the cheek and the Eagles breast and head are questions for me. MS65

    I would say with the marks on his check and ear, a 63 but think it got bumped to 64 for the lustre.

    65 - obverse cheek marks/weak strike reverse. But, beautiful quarter!!

    Die cracks are part of the minting process - not considered in the grade of a coin - look at all the MS Morgans with die cracks!!
    I've boughten (and returned) MS69 PCGS Silver Eagles with finger prints on them - now if that don't lower the grade the die cracks sure wouldn't!

    No I shot and posted directory cracks because it was one of the things I liked about this specimen . Plus it was my birth year and got a great deal on it.
