Ok, guess the grade for this 1950 Cent. Please describe in detail, if possible. This was purchased by me as a type coin, and I value your opinions.

Since there was no room, please specify in your comments whether or not it is MS or PF, and whether the color is R, B, or RB.

very pretty one :D considered 65 but seeing what looks like a few but what looks like bag dings on lincolns coat hold it back from gem... color... I give it RD from the pics but right on the border of that RB designation so could go either way...

Duh... full grade/guess.. PF65RD :D (upgraded to 65 since you say dings on plastic)

Some scratches on the slab. Is it PF or MS? No room in the poll for all choices.

My Lincoln skills are weak. I don’t pay them much attention now that my eyesight is poor… But these photos show me a very flat and squared rim so I am calling this one proof. Beyond that, I would simply be guessing.

Looks like a satin finish proof.

I voted 66 pf or ms . The rim above pluribus doesn't look square so MS.

PF 65 RD….the early proofs (when the mint restarted after a hiatus), 1950 in particular, don’t look as obvious as later or earlier years. From the photo, the details on the letters are sharp and I can see a cameo look on the wheat stalks. So I’m fairly confident this is a proof. There looks to be some toning around the rims but it might just be a shadow/reflection. If it’s toning and it was there when slabbed, it should be RB but I think it’s just a shadow, so I went with RD.

The reverse did it for me definitely some cameo there.

PF65 RB. Definitely more than 5% Brown just by eyeing it IMO, so I can't see them giving it a full RD.

Went PF for square rims considering I would expect a MS coin to have less square in the mid 60s. Also went 65 vs higher because I just don't see the extra appeal to it. That might be due to the slab but it seems a strong 65 to me.

Also thought this was a proof before reading the thread.
I can't tell if the scratches are on the coin or not, it could be impaired.

No scratches on the coin. Holder has a few. Needs the auto polish treatment on the holder. Think I already said some scratches on the holder.

With what appears to be square rims and slightly too much off red color I am at
    PF 66RB. A beautiful example

My 1950 proof doesn’t have broad rims so that doesn’t preclude the OP’s coin from being a proof. Unfortunately, I don’t have a guess.

PF-64 RB. The lighting could be a factor in my RB assessment though. Definitely a proof, the rims give it away and I see a slight cameo effect on the reverse.

Ok, most people were close or right on. It is a proof— a satiny looking one. The average grade was 65, so people were very close. Congratulations to @expat, who got it as 66 RB. The coin definitely has rim toning, so it took away attention from the proof rims. In hand it is a pretty coin.
