MS 65 I have been under-grading your last few posts, so I bumped up my guess by 1. Let's see if it was a wise decision.
I also could see a 65 here. Luster looks good and they seem to be very forgiving on cheek rub/hits in this series.
I know why you all guessed what you did. When I first got the coin, I was a little surprised at the grade. All this marks on the cheek, eyebrow(s), lip, hair, etc, right?!? After some paying attention in threads here, some discussion with 'knowledgeables', and comparing coins with similar marks, I now understand. Those marks are planchet marks, and due to the metal not flowing all the way into the deepest areas of the die, which would make them smooth out. Planchet marks do not affect the grade, as it is 'as minted', and not from bags marks or handling. Anyway, 2 of you were close, but still no cigar -
