Just got this Buffalo in the mail yesterday. Been waiting nearly a week for it to show up. It was mailed via Media Mail, please don't ever do that, for 60 cent's more it will arrive at least twice as fast. Anyway's, take a look and guess...

    Interesting toning. MS-66?

The coin is beautiful with very attractive toning and the luster looks like the booming luster created by an LDS strike. However, the details are rather mushy for a common date that comes well struck and there are some light abrasions scattered about the surfaces of the coin. My head says MS65 but my heart wants to bump it to MS66 because of the eye appeal. I'm going with my heart, a low end MS66.

Well I'm going MS 67 yes Lehigh96 points are correct to my eyes as well but..... if in hand looks as good as your images I'll say 67 +.

Too many bag marks for MS-66 or above. I'd say MS 64 due to fatigued dies.

Have you checked it for an WDDO-001? :) Because from your images it's looking good to my eyes.

I did not check it for any varieties. I typically check for varieties listed in the Cherrypickers' Guide. I didn't see any so I left it alone. But now that you brought up the WDDO-001, I just had to go check. I think you're correct, It looks like it might be that DDO. Nice little bonus. Thank's Paddy54, you're like my big brother on some of these.. LOL

The winner of this GTG is @rlm's cents with a guess of MS-65.

I'd have to agree with @mikenoodle on too many hit's to go above 66. I think it's a strong 65 with very good potential of upgrading. Though the price difference of going to a 66 is not worth resubmission. I may see if I can talk @Cascade into sending it in to CAC for me and see how it does. I'd be super happy with a green or a coveted Gold bean on this bad boy. The luster is out of control on it. In hand it is one of the highest contrast coins I have looked at.
