I think this coin is now in my top 5 favorites for stunningly beautiful color in hand. I had to have it, and I'm glad I made that decision. But...

    What's the grade?

Not good at grading these but do I see a die clash on this? If so, was it attributed as such? Obverse above the bust and reverse above the motto?

No, that's a wisp of hair that's supposed to be there on the obverse, and on the reverse a coin rub.

Looks like you guys need that photos that show the luster...

    Tommy
PT had hair plugs....:jawdrop: never knew he belonged to the hair club for men.

He seems to have lots of luster on top of his head....like a crome dome.

Ok, I do love the Art Deco look of this one. I'm at MS-66.

Its a good looking coin. From the pics I can see where the high AU opinions are coming from though. I'm just guessing for fun, I'm not sure on this one

The 1930's art deco era is by far my favorite time period for coins in general both U.S. as well world coins.
The designs are timeless....created by minds that were always looking forward towards the future.
There could be a thread started posting some of the master pieces of the era.

    I'm between MS 64 and MS 65, so I'll go MS 64+
(I might be too conservative as the scattered hits are likely exaggerated in the photos...this is definitely not an AU or low MS in my opinion).
