GTG- 1930-D LWC (& what's up with the date?)

    I've had this for a while, and I figured WTH, let's do a GTG. Two sets of obverse images with different lighting.

    So what's the grade?

    Also, can anyone tell me what is going on with the '0' in the 1930? There's a close up of the date further down.

    ...not sure about the 0...looks interesting!

    Looking at the striations I would hazard a guess at die deterioration at the 0 & MM. I'll let the others GTG.

    I can see it as a 64RD. I'm guessing the issue at the date is die erosion.

    Slabbed Lincoln Cents are one of the toughest coins to shoot. Trying to show strike and color at the same time is soooooo difficult. It's just so easy to lose the detail in the hair.

    It may be an anomaly due to lighting but I think I see ghosting which is a sign of extensive due use. Ghosting 1.JPG Ghosting 2.JPG

    64RB, and I agree, it is die deterioration.

    Wow! And a CAC, would have never guessed that high.
