Looks MS62 BN to me, but PCGC would probably call it an AU58.

This coin is a toughie the obverse EDS is a very struck and the reverse is LDS. If it weren't for the Obverse I would think AU58 but the Obverse does not show any wear that I can see in this photo with a little mark on Lincoln's Upper Check which looks like a bag mark to me. I think BN MS63. Reverse strike drags this coin down.

    I'll go 64BN

I bet the brown looks smoother in hand. Hardly a hit on it that I can see, often seen weak reverse.

    63BN

Too tough for me! Looks like the coin is cockeyed in the slab and makes it really hard to get a good picture.

I love the detail in Lincoln's hair, it is so crisp and clear. I would say it is MS-63 BN.

    What a 1922 Strong Reverse Die 2? :)

Die #2 is a STRONG reverse. It has full wheats. That is Dies #3.

Guess I missed something was referencing http://lincolncentresource.com/1922Ddievarieties.html Website
    Die Pair #2:
    • Absolutely no trace of a D
    • Second 2 in date is sharper than the first 2.
    • All letters in TRUST are sharp.
    • WE is only slightly mushy.
    • L in LIBERTY butts up against the rim.
Reverse is sharp with nice wheat lines.

I was just guessing as could not see the Obverse or know if that was a Mushy O (of the One) the Reverse (Die 3) but did notice the Grade and think this is Market Grading at its best :)

Still think your 1916D is very nice. :)
