    Howdy numismatists!

Continuing with my TrueView GTG threads (1, 2, 3, 4 & 5), next up I've got this lovely 1913 type 1 nickel from my 20th Century type set. What do y'all think?

I'm really bad at grading these, but wow, what a nice coin. I'm going to say MS 65

The coin looks gem, but the photo also looks like a Truview which are very flattering. I am going to say MS64+

On Buffalo nickels, I go more by strike than grade. 1913 Buffalo's were kept by many when they first came out, so there are a plethora of MS grade coins still available. I'd say the strike on your coin was a weak strike and probably a MS65.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I don't know why, but Buffalo nickels are one of the hardest US coin series to grade, for me. I'll see a coin and guess 63, and it'll go 66. I'll see a coin and guess 65, and it'll go 63. Seems more like throwing darts to me.

Walkers are a close second, for some reason.

I see a slightly week strike. But overall the luster is there and it is distraction free.
No doubt in my opinion a Gem Buffalo.

Worn die and strike is so-so, but still looks 65.

A few have called out perfectly that we have a worn dies and weakly struck example here. If this is in an older holder, I think it went 64. If it's a newer holder, I think it went 66.
