AU-55 was my first impression...could be MS (63) if I'm interpreting the pic incorrectly...either way, a nicely toned Barber dime!
That's a beauty! Is the hair under liberty a little worn or could that be strike weakness or maybe my poor eyesight.
This is a tough coin to image with the scope. I'm going to re shoot it in a bit . Maybe that will help with seeing the coin better. In hand it's really a nice specimen , plenty of eye appeal. The color is dark toning around the rim followed by a purple brown that coats the coin to its center,on the obverse . The reverse has somewhat the same only less color towards the center. It has a small die crack coming off the D. It is also clashed the clash is hidden by the darker coloring . Maybe a slight rub on the hair line but could also be the strike.
I think this is a better image, and truer to real color,of the specimen. I do agree with the grade somewhat but believe if you had this in hand you would say it's a point or so higher. I also think I under paid around $25.00 off a retail price.
63 or 64 with ugly toning (IMO). Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and this beholder doesn't think it's beautiful. I could be wrong, of course.
One member hit it on the head even with the nasty images I put up yesterday..dddd did , however ...someone has been messing with my scope here and she's going to get a stern talking to! This is another reason I buy the coin and not the slab. As this coin is every bit an 63 at least. no matter I paid below AU money so I'm The marks on the image are clashes .
