I have been shopping and doing a lot of bidding and losing.... but I finally nailed one Under Melt!!!!!! so a really can't lose. And it was one of the ones I really really liked (didn't really bid on any I didn't like lol) ok weird stuff here last pic refuses to display right side up... renamed, recropped, renamed again.. but every time i upload it, it displays upside down... I tried so don't blame me... (silly forum lol)
No clue but it's a step up for you @mrweaseluv! Congrat's on the win and being the new proud owner. Lower MS something if I had to guess.
She may go MS but she's flat (i.e., cleaned). Technically in nice shape, though. I'd have hit on her under melt, no question.
Sorry late with the reveal... lost power about an hour after i posted this (not to mention the 36inchs of snow that fell in 16hrs) and just got it back 30 minutes ago...
Just saw this thread. Gold is difficult. You picked a very nice coin and got it for under spot. Congratulations!
I agree with this. Under melt, you say? Already slabbed? Well, that’s a win any way you slice it! Congrats! Quite a coup. My sole $10 Indian also happens to be a 1911. (My paternal grandmother’s birthyear.) I think it’s a really strong example for an MS62 and is probably a candidate for CAC review someday. I paid considerably over melt value for it.
PS- Whoa, I just saw the reveal. Wow!!! Great score for you, Weaselbritches! You sure know how to find a good deal!
