*Note: My images don't do the luster justice at all, (hats off to you cats who capture lustrous slabbed copper so well) so here is a link to a short iPhone video of the cartwheel to show that perspective a bit.
This is definitely a chameleon coin... was taking a slab shot for the reveal here in a bit and figured I'd post these for a no frills look under normal lighting.
Those make it look RB!! It could be 64RB. I'd like to change my original guess based on these new images.
Ok, I'll hold off on the reveal for a bit since I added those. No good at imaging these as I said so it figures the coin looks better when I wasn't trying.
I suck at Lincolns, so I'd rather not guess, but I wanted to watch the thread. Nice coin, love the colors!
NGC MS64RB You guys were all right in the range despite my less-than-stellar photos. The coin looks completely different depending on the lighting. I'd say brown all day unless it's right under a normal desk light, then it looks red. I have to wonder if it looked redder in hand ~20 years ago when it was slabbed.
Thanks... I'm currently fighting the urge to crack it and put it in my dansco. May get returned to see what is available raw instead.
