They likely have it a 64 BN because of the wood grain. But I grade it 65. Nice coin.

A nice looking coin Paddy but I'd be hard pressed to grade as it appears, when enlarged, to have some obverse pitting? Or maybe some lighting artifacts?

Curious to see if the obv is considered damaged.

64 BN. TPGs hate wood grain.

My apologizes, I will blame it on old fat fingers and poor keyboarding skills. That was supposed to be a 62. This cent is obviously unc. and my grade reflects what appears to me to be a scuff on the rim at the lower edge of the wood grain. MS 62 BN. I will try to remember to proof read my posts from here on.

64 BN. And not because of the “wood grain”, that tick on the shoulder is too prominent to allow a higher grade. My eye is drawn right to it.

Lol I cant. I just can’t. When he bamboozled Santinidollar and green18 and when they realized it and mercilessly roasted him in fine fashion.....

    It was Legendary.

Do you mean to tell me that he was awarded the  flying fickle finger of fate award? For out playing these two? 46895_lg.jpeg

I think the Ed Wood fun is perfectly acceptable, because even though we give him grief we have also inadvertently elevated him into a living legend.

    Oh...64 BN. Nice VDB!

I wouldn’t call them “outplayed”!! Their retorting roasts were nothing short of legendary!!

...I'm thinking the wood grain does lower the grade (at least in the minds of the tpgs)
