My parents gave this one to me as a birthday gift when I was in elementary school, my first Morgan Dollar. The scratch in the right field on the obverse is a scratch on the slab.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

It looks like a 64. I could see it in a 63 holder though, based on the strike and luster.

65+ by today's standards. In old anacs possibly 66 but oddly enough old anacs holders seem to be accurately graded by today's standards except with pl/dmpl designations so since they didn't have the + back then it's a toss up of either 65 or 66 on the label imo. It's EXTREMELY clean and the strike is strong for an O mint. Only variable really is how minor those tiny starches behind her mouth are in hand. If they're bad 64 is the minimum, if they're barely noticeable then 65/66

I would say 65, maybe 66 if it really looks like the pictures in hand. I'm not seeing enough to drop it down to 63 unless the pictures are really hiding a lot, though. Nice strike for that mint.

    65, but I can't read your luster. +- 1 if the luster is booming/flat.

High in grade 64. Would be a plus grade today.

65 is my 1st impression of the coin, I'm not in love with the reverse. But it's the reverse, so who cares right?

The scratches on the cheek arent easily visable in hand without magnification. Virtually bag mark free with pleasant cartwheel luster, though the surfaces are very frosty, but a little dull. I believe it is VAM 66 and LDS judging by the die cracks on the reverse. Doubled 1 in date, die chips from the bottom point of Liberty's neck and doubled profile. Also doubled reverse lettering.
