Slab has a lot of light scratches.... feel like I've been seeing this with these newer NGC slabs lately.

There are blue toned Indians that are NT and were stored in mint tissue paper for 50 years. (many proofs) And there are other blue toned Indians that are AT.
Can someone who is looking at a coin for 15 seconds really tell the difference?
Do they really have machines that can sniff out "AT agents"?

NGC isnt as tough on toning like this as PCGS, from my experience anyways. PCGS might have called it questionable color. NGC probably straight graded it but graded it a point lower than it should be cause they either hate dark colored copper or dont want to adjust their light to see the coin better.
    My grade is MS66
    NGC grade is MS65

    Pretty coin!

I like the purple and blue cents, I have a few braided hair cents with this look. It wasn’t completely unusual for coins to be stored in tissue back in the day. I’d grade it MS-65 BN

Negative, it’s very lustrous but the color was so nice I went with a TrueView-style photo.

I don't know, though as far as blue Indians go the OP coin feels very wholesome in-hand. I couldn’t say with any degree of certainty if my other one is AT or NT, (and I really don’t care honestly..I love that coin) but between the two I find the skin/appearance of the OP to be more natural.
