I won this a little while ago and wanted to show you guys to see what you think about the grade. It's a 1900-O Morgan dollar with slight toning to it.

What do you grade it? And, do you think it is a VAM? It's pretty cracky around the reverse lettering.

Nice die cracking on the reverse. A few blemishes regarding Liberty's cheek but nothing untoward. By the photogs I'd hazard a '65 but I suspect that the powers that be gave her a '64. Lots of luster. :)

The obverse should limit the grade to MS62 and I never really got into VAMs but my God, that die crack on the reverse starts at the O in ONE and travels clockwise through UNITED STATES OF and even through the eagle's wing. There is also a cool little die crack from the rim to the curls between the zeros of the date. Don't know if any of those qualify as VAMs, but I am guessing one does.

MS 64 is my guess (I might call it a 63 but I think the TPG gave it the 64)

Solid 64 with that much chatter on the obv face but plenty of luster which drives most grades with these. James

I'll say 63 because I see too much chatter on the face for higher, but they probably gave it 64. Of course it's a VAM - they all are :) - with those cracks on the reverse it should be easy to ID, you just have about 75 to look through, so get busy! https://www.vamworld.com/wiki/1900-O_VAMs
