AU58. The dull darkness on the high points indicates too much rub to slide into mint state, as I see it.
Agree with the AU55, but wonder if the distortion on the cheek is plastic on the slab or damage to the coin itself. If the latter then lower grade than AU55.
My first thought was MS63 light bag marks on the face but the breast feathers are weak but everything else looks pretty good.MS63
Unusual for the op to buy slabbed coins... could be wrong though but im going to say the lable says MS65 which would be overgraded IMO.
This is a tough one because there's known weakness in this series in the areas, especially in the hair, that otherwise look like wear. I'm going to say this one has an MS grade on it. In my humble opinion, it's a technical gem, except for the spotting.
Who saw this coming? I got it for $29 shipped. Under 10x, I see only 1 thing potentially worthy of a details grade. I agree that it should be AU. Care to opine?
