That one glows. Obverse looks 66+ (maybe better), I'm going with that.

Beautiful coin. Luster, clean mark free face and a pretty good strike from New Orleans mint. Lots of detail in the hair and the eagle.
I am going out on a limb with
    MS 67+

Nice . . . don't remember the last time I saw a Morgan so free of bag marks. I'll stay on the conservative side and say MS66.

That coin is spectacular and certainly clean & lustrous enough for a premium gem grade. I don't think it is MS68, because most 68s I've seen have a particular luster profile related to the cleanliness of the cheek that is missing on this coin. Likewise, I don't think the coin is MS67+ because they don't usually award the + grade to blast white coins, typically they use the + designation to reward toned coins with greater eye appeal.

I'm at MS66+ with this one. It's a nicely struck example of an 1898-O...which is a date where fully struck examples can be found without too much difficulty. The photo is a little overexposed so the luster is hard to evaluate but I do think the coin has booming luster and excellent eye appeal.

I don't see any significant dings or hits on the coin. I do see a couple very minor hits, a couple on the left side field on the obverse and one very small one above the eagle on the reverse. There is also a tiny bit of scuffing in the luster on the fields. I think these VERY minor flaws prevent it from getting a MS67 grade.

I say solid MS66+ and a lovely coin at that.

I'm not very good with Morgans but that easily looks like a 66 to me.

I see quite a few light scratches but it looks like there on the holder I think she is MS-66

I went 66 on her but she is a sweet looking coin with lots of luster.

There is a small hit on her nose and the bottom of her cap. Maybe dead center of Eagle’s breast. Is that enough to keep it from a 67?

Interesting coin to gtg on. Really it's the reverse that kept me from guessing 67. But it could very possibly have made it IMO.

Don’t count the bagmarks on really high end Morgans. Even 69s will make the grade with a mark or two.
