Old ANACS little guy holder, gonna say 64PL but that's probably wrong since it's tricky

Maybe it is tricky because there isnt a PL designation. Im gonna say MS-65

Yep, the vertical gouge in front of the eye is visible in the photo too. Being that the MM took a hit, it made it a bear to vam, but experience trumps all

The cheek is way too clean for a 63, but i obviously wont be cracking it.
Now, if this didnt have such a weak strike, i would be scrambling around trying to figure out which vam the(special strike) SP labeled '84o is. Hmmmm maybe i should anyway

 

You think this has a weak strike? It looks pretty hammered to me. The hair on the obverse is really good for an O mint Morgan.

 

Yea, the obverse is ok. Kinda odd actually.
The hair looks good, but the date, stars and dentils are very flat. The reverse breast and talons are ok, but look at the very bottom left wreath and those damn dentils again.
Sorta odd to be weak where it is, then look ok in the normal places. Much easier to see in-hand also.
Edit- maybe this is from vigorous polishing of the dies. Not necessarily strike?
