MS-"highly altered images that don't really let you see what the coin looks like." Is this coin yours, and are these images yours? If you own the coin, turn the contrast way down (that is, show us what the coin really looks like.). If this coin is something you are bidding on and these are the seller's images.... I'd be cautious. There are ways to make a coin look more PL than it really is, and I strongly suspect that's what's happening here. This coin doesn't look anything like that in hand.
I’m really liking the old girl! MS64PL. In my humble opinion, the fields are much better than that, but it’s the heavy luster grazes that hold her out of gem. @Lehigh96, it wouldn’t surprise me at all of you nailed this one.
I'm late but, it appears the reverse is not quite PL. There are many one siders from the '78-'82 San Fran era.
I'll try and get a better image of the reverse today. There are a lot of polishing lines depending on the light angles which probably held back a PL designation.
Nah, that didn’t prevent a PL call. To me, that coin is PL, and they blew that. In return for blowing the prooflike designation, it gets the + and a green bean.
